Mt. Aetna VFD needs operational and administrative members

Volunteering for your local fire company is not only a great way to give back to the community; it’s truly the experience of a lifetime. Want to be a part of the action? Being a volunteer firefighter/rescuer is incredibly rewarding. We provide physicals, training and gear at no cost to our volunteers. Maryland residents are eligible for a significant income tax deduction (after 3 years of service), and you'll earn points toward retirement funds in the Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP).

We also need help in other areas. If your expertise is finance, fundraising, administrative management, or you’re just handy with tools around the house, we need you. For more information, stop by the fire station at 10305 Crystal Falls Drive or email us.
